Rockwood 2840 Automatic Flush Bolt (Top Bolt Only), for Metal Doors Fire Rated Up to 3 Hours, 1" by 6-3/4"

The non-handed, fully automatic 2840 Automatic Flush Bolt (Automatic Top Bolt Only) is for use on select fire rated metal doors. This product features an override feature that prevents damage to doors or bolts if bolt heads are blocked from entering strikes, and a thermal lock that automatically locks the inactive door under high heat conditions due to fire.

  • For Fire Rated Metal Doors labeled A, B, C, D & E up to 4'w x 8'h
  • No plastic anchor required for top only
  • Fully automatic-opening active door retracts top and bottom bolts
  • Low closing force
  • Override feature prevents damage to doors or bolts if bolt heads are blocked from entering strikes
  • Bolt head rods are adjustable up to 1-1/2"
  • Thermal lock automatically locks the inactive door under high heat conditions due to fire
