McKinney HTA786 Full Mortise Heavy Weight 3 Knuckle Hinge, Hospital Tips, Concealed Bearing, Square Corner, 26D/652 Satin Chrome
The HTA786 (steel) are our heavyweight three knuckle institutional hinges with hospital tips and are recommended for use on high frequency and/or heavy wood or metal doors in schools, hospitals or other public buildings where security requirements exist.
Features
- Hospital tipped ends and concealed bearing assemblies
- Prison Safety Feature (PSF) only available on 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" hinge
- Heavy weight - for use on all extra heavy and/or high frequency doors where security requirements exist
- For common flush door/frame/wall application
- Anti-friction type bearings at both joints

- Slopped angle of hospital tip (HT) helps discourage students, inmates, or patients from hanging objects from the top of the hinge
- Anti-friction bushing provides additional protection against vertical and lateral wear
- Durable hinge that withstands constant use
