Dormakaba BP89 Backplate
Compatible with 8900 Series closers
For mounting top jamb when frame face is less than 2-7/8" (73 mm). Two sets of mounting holes accommodate 1-3/4" (44 mm) or 3-1/4" (83 mm) minimum ceiling clearance.* Top set of holes create top jamb drop application to clear a surface applied stop/holder. Can also be used for regular mount closer to clear mortised stop/holder.
*Overhead ceiling clearance is measured from bottom of frame face to ceiling.
